Karenne,

At first I cringed when doing this. There are so many wonderful people who work hard to nominate and really all should win an award for their specialties. However, I still want some if not all to win some award. We all do this for free and if at least some of my nominations are recognized for their hard work that would be amazing but really I think every blog I read deserves some sort of award because I would not read them if they weren't brilliant!

@Shelly Terrell, Anne

This will be my fifth attempt to leave this message - unfortunately that little not-spam box doesn't like me...

I just wanted to say that I agree with your listing more than one person in each category and I blatantly ignored the rules myself because I don't think that nominating one person per category is really possible, or just.

When it comes to the polling, people can choose one however if Edublogs would like us to nominate those who should be on the list, they really shouldn't make us choose "just one" - apart from the fact that given how many amazing blogs there are out there and how difficult that task would be - it isn't very good for community best practices...

I wrote and told them ;-) because I wouldn't have done any nominations if I had to only choose one per category however I wanted to do a nominations postings as I would like to shed light on some of the more forgotten bloggers who produce amazing work as well as celebrate the posts of the more well-known bloggers too!

Take care,
Karenne

Anne,

I thought about this too! There were so many more I should have nominated and just pushing the envelope this far I hope doesn't get my votes disqualified because only one is supposed to be allowed for each category. I think this goes to show how many fantastic blogs and writers are out there including your blog. I would have to find a wonderful category for most who break the envelope and go above and beyond.

Great list Shelly! But... what about you? The best of the best!
I know most of these blogs but my favorite blogger from your list is Ozge Karaoglu. I started following her blog in August and saw the great use she makes from twitter, so I also started twitting and here I am... with a fantastic PNL.
I am really thankful of having you and Ozge in my PNL.
